When I first heard about Portofino, I got really excited and interested in this small pearl by the Mediterranean. I knew at once I would go there soon. Here are my pictures of last summer...
Portofino is on the small peninsula market with a red star in the middle of the map

There are 3 small towns right next to each-other: Rapallo, Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino at the end of the 'road' (which is rather a one-way street with a breathtaking location separating the sea and the mountains).
Santa Margherita Ligure is also beloved among the Millionaires. This amazing town is an ISO 14001 certified environmentally superior quality territory.

And here is Portofino. The center is small and really friendly. Unfortunately, average visitors cannot enter the much more interesting mountain area, where only the Portofino villa owners have permission for entrance. I had the opportunity to test the BMW M5 and M6. Mamma mia - what a comfortably brutal performance! Fortunately I received a crazy chauffeur for an awesome 30 minutes each. 270 kmh in all the curves, 290 for top... Effects on my body like last time on the plane from Copenhagen to London after getting into a severe turbulance. I cannot give you back the feeling - you'd better try it! Till than, enjoy the pics!
